FBI to Confine VA Scandal to Phoenix

NEXT DAY UPDATE:

You understand what a blank space means, right?

Maybe you saw some invisible ink that I did not.

This is bonus coverage in lieu of a next day update I would normally place at the bottom of yesterday's post.

"The Senate bill would restrict controversial bonuses given to VA employees for meeting certain performance goals."

That is LITERALLY at the bottom of the whole thing. That's why they spent so much time and energy forging fake appointment schedules.

Imagine if they had put that much effort into actually caring for vets, huh?

"Senate backs veterans health measure" by Matthew Daly | Associated Press   June 12, 2014

WASHINGTON — The Senate acted Wednesday to help thousands of military veterans enduring long wait times for VA medical care, as the FBI revealed it has opened a criminal investigation into a Veterans Affairs Department reeling from allegations of falsified records and inappropriate scheduling practices....

Let the COVER UP BEGIN!

************

‘‘The cost of war does not end when the last shots are fired and the last missiles are launched,’’ said Bernie Sanders, the Vermont independent who chairs Senate Veterans Affairs Committee.

‘‘The cost of war continues until the last veteran receives the care and the benefits that he or she is entitled to and has earned on the battlefield.’’

Don't tell it to us, Bernie!

Senator John McCain, the Arizona Republican who drafted the bill with Sanders, called the bill ‘‘a beginning — not an end — to the efforts that must be taken’’ to address the crisis affecting veterans’ health care.

‘‘Make no mistake: This is an emergency,’’ McCain said.

Because it has made the political cla$$ that lied us into these wars look bad. I mean, this problem has existed for decades and all of a sudden it is in the agenda-pushing news now? That in itself is damn suspicious.

McCain’s comments came in response to complaints from Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions and other Republicans that the bill was a ‘‘blank check’’ to spend billions of dollars with little or no way to rein it in.

That's what Congre$$ does when there is a public relations problem. They throw money at it, and it goes away.

Senator Tom Coburn, Republican of Oklahoma, said the VA has ‘‘plenty of money’’ adding: ‘‘It’s management and accountability and honesty in treating the veterans’’ that is needed to improve care for veterans.

So does this bankrupt and ca$h-grabbing government that is a $tinking carca$$ of corruption.

The Senate vote came as the FBI revealed it has opened a criminal investigation into the VA. FBI director James Comey said Wednesday that the investigation was being led by the FBI’s field office in Phoenix, which he described as the ‘‘primary locus of the original allegations’’ being investigated by the VA’s office of inspector general.

This is REMINISCENT of the IRS SCANDAL in that the government has tried to pin that on the Cincinnati office when documents have surfaced that the auditing of political enemies came from the Washington

The list of articles of impeachment is getting rather long.

‘‘We’re working with the VA IG to follow it wherever the facts take us,’’ Comey told the House Judiciary Committee.

Uh-huh.

***********

The involvement of the FBI represents an escalation into concerns of possible criminal conduct by VA employees, though it remains unclear whether investigators will find any basis for prosecution, but the situation remains a continuing embarrassment for Obama and a potential political liability for congressional Democrats seeking reelection in November.

Ooooooooooohhhh!!

So this is NOT ABOUT VETERANS at all, but about DEMOCRAPS COVERING THEIR POLITICAL ASSES, while the first part of that paragraph is the telegraphing of an FBI cover-up!

And you wonder why I am sick of this s***?

The Senate bill would restrict controversial bonuses given to VA employees for meeting certain performance goals and would make it easier to fire top VA officials....
