Nigerian Wedding Reception

It's a royal one in more ways than one:

"British, US experts join Nigeria search for abducted girls" by Michelle Faul and Haruna Umar | Associated Press   May 10, 2014

LAGOS, Nigeria — The international effort to rescue the 276 schoolgirls being held captive by Islamist extremists in northeastern Nigeria was boosted Friday when British security experts joined the Nigerian and American forces trying to rescue the missing students.

As the worldwide effort got underway, the weakness of the Nigerian military was exposed in a report issued by Amnesty International.

Britain said its aim was not only to help with the current crisis but to defeat Boko Haram.

The American team was joined by six additional military officers and more are expected soon, said Pentagon spokesman Navy Rear Admiral John Kirby. The US officers will do a ‘‘gap analysis,’’ an assessment to identify what the Nigerian military needs that the US could provide in the search for the girls, he said.

Hostage negotiations is another area where the American team will assist, said US State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki.

Negotiating with terrorists?

China, France, and Spain have also promised help.

Demonstrations in support of the missing Nigerian girls have been held around the world and a social media campaign —dubbed #BringBackOurGirls — continued to grow.

In New York, the UN Security Council hinted at sanctions against Boko Haram.

They were not on them already? WTF?

Council members also expressed their intention ‘‘to consider appropriate measures against Boko Haram,’’ which in diplomatic language means possible sanctions.

??????

The weakness of the Nigerian armed forces was highlighted Friday in a report which said the military did not respond to warnings that Boko Haram rebels were about to attack Chibok, the town where the young women were abducted from their school.

Nigerian security forces had four hours of notice about the April 15 attack by the rebels but did not react because of their fear of engaging the extremists, said Amnesty International, in a report citing multiple interviews with credible sources.

Which sound incredible.

‘‘This abduction could have been prevented,’’ Amnesty spokeswoman Susanna Flood said of the Nigerian military’s inaction.

The mass kidnapping of the schoolgirls has focused the world’s attention on Boko Haram and on the response of President Goodluck Jonathan’s government. ‘‘I believe that the kidnap of these girls will be the beginning of the end of terror in Nigeria,’’ Jonathan said at an economic forum on Thursday.

Jonathan’s government is accused of being slow to mount operations to rescue the girls....

Boko Haram has staged many attacks in northeastern Nigeria over the years, a campaign of bombings and massacres that has intensified in recent times despite a strong military presence there.

"Nigerian militants abduct 3, blow up second bridge" by Michelle Faul and Ibrahim Abdulaziz | Associated Press   May 11, 2014

YOLA, Nigeria — Islamic extremists blew up a bridge, killed an unknown number of people, and abducted the wife and two children of a retired police officer in northeast Nigeria, residents said Saturday.

The Friday night attacks came amid mounting condemnation by Muslims of Boko Haram, the Nigerian terrorist network that abducted more than 300 girls nearly a month ago.

A team of French specialists arrived Saturday in Nigeria to help look for the girls, said an official in President Francois Hollande’s office in Paris. He said they are expert in collecting intelligence from technical and human sources and in image analysis.

Maybe they can find the Malaysian plane that is missing.

British security specialists arrived Friday to join Nigerian and American forces, and Britain said its aim is not only to help in the crisis over the girls but to defeat the homegrown terrorist network.

Yeah, I saw that.

International outrage at the prolonged failure of Nigeria’s military to rescue the girls was joined Saturday by Michelle Obama. In a radio address on the eve of Mother’s Day, she said she and President Obama are ‘‘outraged and heartbroken’’ over the April 15 mass abduction.

Oh, this is really starting to stink like rank rot propaganda!

‘‘In these girls, Barack and I see our own daughters,’’ Mrs. Obama said, referring to Malia, 15, and Sasha, 12. ‘‘We see their hopes, their dreams, and we can only imagine the anguish their parents are feeling right now.’’

In Boston, about 2,000 people rallied Saturday outside the State House to protest the failure of Nigeria’s government to rescue the girls. The ‘‘Bring Back Our Girls’’ rally was organized by the local Nigerian community.

In Nigeria, a parent of an abducted child, the Rev. Enoch Mark, described his despair and anger at the military for not yet finding his two abducted daughters. ‘‘For a good 11 days, our daughters were sitting in one place,’’ he said.

‘‘They camped them near Chibok (the town from which they were abducted), not more than 30 kilometers, and no help in hand.’’

A well-known Nigerian Islamic scholar warned that having foreign soldiers on Nigerian soil could escalate the conflict and draw foreign extremists to the West African nation. Ahmed Mahmud-Gumi, speaking in northern Kaduna city on Friday, said it ‘‘may trigger waves of terrorism never seen before.’’

They are catching on over there!

‘‘Foreign terrorists are eager to engage foreign forces, making Nigeria just another battle ground’’ like Afghanistan and Iraq, he said.

The former Nigerian military ruler, General Ibrahim Babangida, urged the country’s Muslims to rise up against the extremists.

‘‘Islam enjoins you to live peacefully with fellow human beings. . . . Therefore, anybody who will come and smear our name, all Muslims should kick against that,” he said in a BBC interview.

That's another reason I think Islamic extremism = covert western intelligence operation

From Doha, Qatar, the International Union for Muslim Scholars condemned ‘‘the terrible crimes offensive to Islam.’’

In the Saudi city of Jiddah, the 56-country Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the world’s largest bloc of Islamic countries, said it is planning a meeting that will focus on groups like Boko Haram.

The signs say it all.

"I recently put up an article stating clearly that the so called "schoolgirl kidnapping" in Nigeria is a FARCE and a massive hoax.   The facts were clearly shown by the news article coming out of Australia that many of these girls were indeed held captive by this "Boko Haram terrorist" (sounds as phoney as "Al Qaeda" before it) group, but were released before April 17th!  I therefore realized after reading that article that this entire sham of claiming that these girls were still held hostage to this date was a lie and being done purposely by the liars in our own government and media.   The bottom line is that the girls were released weeks ago and there is no hostage crisis going on at all today!

Lets get the facts straight… The Jewish run media in the United States and elsewhere is promoting the Nigerian "hostage" lie because the US wants an excuse to invade Nigeria.   The fact is that Nigeria has indeed been making massive trade deals with China, primarily to supply the Chinese economy with much needed Petroleum and especially many rare earth minerals that are plentiful in Nigeria.   The US has been working for over the last decade doing everything possible to prevent the Chinese from making legal trade deals in Africa, and as usual rather than make their own trade deals they have sought to invade those nations!   We only need to look at how they went into Somalia and destroyed that nation.  Then they went into Libya along with their lackeys in NATO in a "humanitarian" mission that destroyed that nation.  Then they wanted to go into Uganda to "get Joseph Kony" who has been dead for about a decade now, but are still pushing for sending troops into that nation under the guise of a phoney man hunt…. And we cannot forget how their NATO partners went into Mali to seize that nation's Gold under the false pretext of stopping the fraudulent "Al Qaeda"…. And recently again their NATO partner France going into the Central African Republic under the false pretext of stopping the "insurgency" in that nation.   Nigeria is only the next domino to fall under the lie of going in to stop this phoney "Boko Haram" terrorist group.    It is time for people to wake the hell up to the truth about what exactly is happening in Africa…
