Obama Has Sick Sense of Humor

I stopped laughing so long ago....

"President Obama trumpets victory for health law" by Julie Pace and Josh Lederman | Associated Press   April 02, 2014

WASHINGTON — Mocking his critics, President Obama boasted Tuesday that 7.1 million people have signed up for his health care law, an unexpected comeback after a disastrous rollout sent his poll numbers plummeting and stirred fears among Democrats facing reelection this fall.

That totally contradicts so many things I was told last visit, and now the dictator has added insult on top of it!!?

And he wonders why the nation despises him and his health law?

‘‘The debate over repealing this law is over,’’ he declared. It’s ‘‘here to stay.’’

No, the debate is not over because you say it is!

Time to get a Republican-controlled Congress and boot the Democrats from the White House. That will be his bummer of a legacy.

But the late enrollment surge may do little to change the political dynamics heading into the midterm elections, particularly for Democrats running in conservative states where the health law and the president himself remain deeply unpopular.

But when you have the bubble of White House perks and privilege all around you, you don't see it.

Even Obama’s advisers acknowledge that the public’s views on the law are unlikely to shift significantly between now and November.

If anything, they are hardening and expanding even more. Six years in, and sorry, this president has been a disaster. Fixing things in the final two years isn't going to happen. He had his chance to be a difference-making president and he blew it.

Maybe he has kept the war on Iran from happening because he doesn't want to be the president that destroyed America for Israel, but that is not enough anymore considering the mess he has made of the planet through Libya and covert efforts in Syria and Ukraine, and the neglect here at home as more and more wealth is concentrated in the top 1%.

Still, with millions of people now receiving health benefits under the law, Democrats see an opportunity to undercut Republicans still pushing to repeal it.

Delusional Democrats! Maybe they should get to a doctor!

And GOP lawmakers, wary of overplaying their political hand, are indeed grappling with whether to press forward with repeal or narrow their focus on replacing the law with different health measures.

I wouldn't worry about it.

In a preview of his party’s midterm messaging, Obama declared Tuesday [before] a group of administration officials and supportive members of Congress in the White House Rose Garden.

Nothing like preaching to the choir to have your delusions reinforced as real!

Underscoring his point, Obama quoted from letters he said he had received from people helped by the law. But Republicans responded in a new round of their own quotes from people complaining about rapidly rising rates....

Related (and I quote):

Let me be exactly clear about what health care reform means to you. First of all, if you’ve got health insurance, you like your doctors, you like your plan, you can keep your doctor, you can keep your plan. Nobody is talking about taking that away from you.”

Just another "inaccurate promise," 'eh?

You know, they always $eem united when it comes to corporate welfare, funding the war machine, and aid to Israel.

After a while I get sick of the $hit-$how fooley narratives of politics and $ports being so prominent in my new$paper. Sorry.

I'm so glad to see he is hard at work cleaning up the mess his administration has made of this nation and world.

What is really scary is I saw him on the ESPN and he looked out of it at the ceremony. He looked like he was high on some sort of medication, and appeared to be totally out of touch with reality by his actions and comments. They were the actions of a man who believes he is important but who is nothing more than a telegenic figurehead for mass consumption, more celebrity than ruler.

I'm starting to believe this man is trapped inside the bubble of his own lies and delusions, and it is really scaring me sick.
